Ok, so I have to do the unveil and do the before photos....so...the BEFORE

And there's still more to come. The skirts that are in place will actually be tinted a mustard yellow colour, making the whole facade pop! Stay tuned....

the paint job looks amazingggggggggggggggg!

This is what the garage looks like still. The area not painted got affected by water so it has to be replaced and repaired. Once done it will get the paint make-over.

The colour is Royal Beige Half by Delux and looks absolutely fantastic!!!!!!

tailoring the house to suit us - Part 2

I thought I would update a previous post since it didnt reflect all the things we added to the house to make it suit us. 

When we got into the researching stage and finding out what we really wanted for our house, we found it took us 6 months to get the full and finial list before signing the tender documents.

In summary here are the items we added/modified to OUR place:

A. Added an Extra Garage

B. Added the Butler’s Pantry

C. Added the Grand Alfresco

D. Added sound proofing to the laundry and theatre

E. Added 600 mm eaves (CANT believe that arn’t standard!!!)

F. Added double doors to the study

G. Added a whole wall of cupboards/storage space to the laundry

H. Added overhead cabinets in the landry

I. Included brick infill above garage

J. Added Solar panels

K. Upgraded to premium  bricks

L. Added the fireplace wall

M. Upgraded floor titles (to porcelain)

N. Upgraded to spa to ensuite

O. Added overhead pantry space over the fridge

P. Upgraded to french doors

Q Wooded windows to ensuite (gotta double check that one)

R. Added extra gas pipe in alfresco (for our BBQ parties), heaps of extra double power points, got extra switches (to turn on lights from different ports)


S. Added the bi-fold doors

The first specks of paint.......

The house was fully locked up today; a thorough check was done to make sure the house was actually 'locked up'. Mr Honeybear had to use his crafty skills to unlock the door.

Walking in Mr K found the house painted! And my-o-my does it look so pretty and elegant.

The colour on the wall is Beige Royal Half by Delux by the pics dont do the colour any justice.

I believe the painting was done through a spray paint.

And these.....I had to do a double take: They're all the doors in the house. I never knew there were so many! 

They're all lined up getting a coat of paint.

So the tiles are placed in all the wet areas.
