The results of our inspection - part 1
I knew that the facade of the house wasn't quite right.
The upper portion should be painted a light yellow like the yellow creme render skirts and not a dark grey/green colour (as seen in the picture below marked in red). My gut instinct was right.
During the inspection Chris pointed it out to them.
Yea it was a stuff up. But Henley asked us to think about it, "it'll get dirty after a while".
Ive got to make a decision my Monday morning to leave it this dark colour or go the yellow colour (as per original contract).
This colour doesnt look bad. What do you guys think?
Should I leave it or change it to a lighter yellow?
The below picture is what it looks like now.

We got a special letter today.....What did you get??
So we got a special letter *shakes the envelope in her hand***
It's the official "Notice of Completion" letter.
It tells us the house is due for a presentation by Henley. Yay!!!!
We'll get to meet with them tomorrow and pick out the stuff that needs fixing.
- During this stage we'll be having our own independent inspector (New Home Inspections).
- We'll also be required to sign that we attended the presentation
- They'll set a date for the Pre-home Inspection/ Handover date
After that, it's another waiting game.

Chimichurri
The Fiance and I dined on Thursday night at San Telmo.
It's an Argentinian bar/restaurant with foooood to die for!
We had the beef flank, beef ribs, salad and potato gratin. It was the best soul food in a long time, cooked on the hot coals. The vibe in there is good too, but a bit pricey but well worth it.
They had the best Chimichurri side sauce/salsa that you spread over you grilled meats - TO DIE FOR ! YUMM! We asked for two servings of it too...hehehehe
Next on the list Simon's Peking Duck Restaurant.
so excited about moving in!!
There's not that much more to do and not that much to go before we can officially take over and call the place our home.
It's going to be fabulous.
We're already starting to plan for the move in date by mentally booking in trailers, mentally knowing where and what to pack our clothes and other items for the house. We've set a rule that we dont want to have a cluttered house, so we'll try and keep only the necessary items.
