We have water!

Today we signed our contracts - there were so many documents to sign. There were 3 books (all about 100 pages each) that we had to sign and initial on every page and even more, there were two copies of everything too -  carpel tunnel syndrome.....!

More good news, we gave them the first stage cheque and of course, they were happy to accept.

Its now 7pm, and Chris just tells me the best news today. Because we havent been to our block for a while, we found it a massive surprise to see a water meter installed! So freggin awesome and so fast I tell you!

*Can you imagine us jumping up and down right about now?*



Whats next 


The water meter is the first step before they commence construction. *Tick*

Now we just have to get rid of all this rubbish on our land (overgrown grass and 9 tyres) before the builders can commence construction. Henley advise us that we can see a slab, frame and roof by November this year - oh my *big smiley face*

There is small amount of paperwork to finalise and thats the first homer's grant and that (hopefully) should be instant. *Kaa-ching  - thank you government!*

Lastly, just waiting approval from the council for our building permit!! Yeee-ha! Thank you melton shire council!

So Chris says we're practically married now, now that we've signed the contact. All I have to say is: LOL
